With some solid early season snow on Apres Vous, skiers and snowboarders headed to Teton Village this past Saturday for the opening of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's 2008 season. Cen Res agent and winter enthusiast, Zak, was one of the first to test this year's crop of fresh snowflakes when he headed out with friends to commemorate the first day of what is sure to be Jackson's biggest season in history. Opening Day is always a grand tradition, but this year, the resort will experience two celebratory dates; Opening Day and the opening of the new tram, Big Red on December 20th.
"It's still early season snow," Zak said, "but it's good enough to get out and start the season." For snow conditions and additional information, call 888-DEEP-SNO.
