Grand Targhee called it a season this past Sunday. Of course, the resort celebrated wildly with the 8th Annual Cardboard Box Derby where competitors glided down the slope in homemade cardboard crafts. The sun was shining and people were out enmasse to commemorate a season that will go down in the record books as one of the best in decades.

As the winter comes to an end, Grand Targhee looks forward to a summer full of activity. Events include the 13th Annual WYDAHO Mountain Bike Race on June 4th, the 4th Annual Targhee Fest July 18th - 20th, the 21st Annual Bluegrass Festival August 8th - 10th and the Grand Teton Ultras and Trails Marathon August 30th - 31st.
