Even though spring has officially sprung, we seem to still be in the throws of an endless winter here in Jackson Hole. So much so that our total season snowfall is getting closer to double what it was last year... 563" to be exact with more falling as I write this and more schedule to hit this week. Although spring fever is in the air, it is hard to hang up the skis and surrender the powder days when they just keep coming. This winter will be one that we get to revel in until the bitter end. Come April 6th (Jackson Hole's Closing Day), I'm guessing that there will still be feet upon feet of snow on the mountain and in town. This Closing Day will be one to remember as it will mark a season that we simply won't be able to forget any time soon.
