It's official. After 35" of snowfall over the past few days, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is officially over the 500" mark with 505" of total season snowfall as of this morning. Conditions continued to be epic over the weekend. Skiers and snowboarders alike reveled in nearly knee-deep powder on Friday and there was more to be found on Saturday and Sunday.
It was spring-like on Sunday, however the snow remained soft and light. The conditions were perfect for the Jackson Hole Freeskiing Open. Spectators enjoyed clear views of competitors as they navigated Jackson's famous cliff-cluttered expert lines. Athletes landed in soft snow after launching front flips and other eye-opening tricks off rock faces.
Even though we're enjoying some late season powder conditions, the apres scene is most definitely ramping up spring-style with some sunny outdoor deck time after a perfect day on the hill.
