Summer Activities
The Alpine Slide winds down Snow King Mountain through 2500 feet of woods and wildflowers. We'll take you to the top of the slide on our double chairlift. Your slide ride down can be as relaxing or exciting as you like. You control your own speed, and no special skills are required. And there's more! After you've enjoyed the slide, we offer terrific T-shirts, snacks, and a picnic area.
Ride the Scenic Chairlift to the top of Snow King Mountain for an unmatched view of the Tetons and Jackson Hole. Our double chairlift, with a safety bar to secure the rider, lifts you from an elevation of 6,180 feet to 7,751 feet in just 20 minutes. The spectacular panorama includes five different ranges. The clear mountain air affords a more-than-50-mile-view north to Yellowstone National Park. Plan to stay awhile and walk the Snow King Nature Trail at the top. Guide booklets are available. Pack up your lunch and enjoy it in our picnic area.
Alpine Golf is a beautifully landscaped 18-hole miniature golf course with waterfalls, ponds and views of the Tetons. Alpine Golf is conveniently located next to the Alpine Slide at Snow King Resort.
Winter Activities
King Tubes is an activity loved by young and old alike. If you're looking for a great time, this popular family activity is in its 11th winter season with a proven track record of lots of laughs and lots of fun.
Ice Skating and Hockey are available to the public at Snow King's ice arena.
If you're looking for some excitement, then don't miss the World Championship Snow King Hill Climb at Snow King Resort. Almost 10,000 spectators come out to watch as snowmobilers race 1,500 vertical feet up Snow King mountain. In 2009, the 34th Annual Hill Climb will take place from March 26 - 29.
