Join the cowboys for a day on the trails and then an evening of cowboy camaraderie! The Mill Iron Ranch has been a Wheeldon family tradition for four generations now. Their unique location in the Horse Creek Valley provides guests with unparalleled trail riding and scenery. Providing a true mountain horseback trail ride, Mill Iron horses are born and raised on the ranch.

2-Hour Mountain Horseback Trail Ride:
Ride from the ranch into the Bridger Teton National Forest and climb 2,000 vertical feet, enjoying views of the Hoback area, Snake River Canyon, and the Teton Range. The Mill Iron Ranch two-hour trail ride is rated #1 in the United States.

Half Day Mountain Horseback Trail Ride:
Ride into the Gros Ventre Wilderness in Bridger Teton National Forest, climb 2,000 vertical feet with views of the Hoback area, Snake River Canyon Area, and the Teton Range. Scenic horseback ride, not for the faint of heart!

Full Day Mountain Horseback Trail Ride (3 itineraries):

• Ride from our Ranch into the Gros Ventre Wilderness, and Bridger Teton National Forest.
• Ride into the Hoback/Granite area where you see herds of elk and their babies.

*Riders must weigh under 230lbs. Age limit 6 years old for kids. Wear long pants and closed toed shoes. No backpacks.
