All Wyoming entrances to Yellowstone National Park are open. Many attractions are available such as fishing and hiking trails. If you’re looking to stay overnight within the park, the park’s hotels and inns are offering a limited number of private lodge rooms. We also recommend visitors stay in nearby Teton Village or Jackson, Wyoming, where there are many hotels and vacation rental homes waiting to welcome you. What Activities Are Open & Available This Summer?
Covered Wagon Cookouts
Searching for a unique way to safely take advantage of the outdoors? Look no further than a covered wagon tour. Bar T 5 is a well known local treat. Hop aboard the horse-drawn wagon and sit back as the cowboys share stories and the occasional song. When you reach camp, you’ll be greeted by the Bar T 5 Band and served a tasty traditional Dutch oven dinner. The main event is a show performed by the cowboys filled with lively entertainment.
Rafting & Floating Trips
Another great outdoor adventure awaits on the river. Whitewater rafting and float trips are creative ways to take in Jackson Hole’s vibrant scenery while safely practicing social distancing. Float companies are operating with smaller groups in each raft and guests are asked to wear a mask in the transportation vans to protect everyone.
