Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club
Consistently recognized as having one of the finest golf courses in Wyoming and the country by Golf Digest Magazine, the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club has completed a much anticipated $15 million Club Improvement Project. The 2007 season will be a milestone year, as it will mark the Grand Opening of the new and improved Club.
After 42 years, the Robert Trent Jones II designed championship course, with just under $5 million spent on course improvement, is playing better than ever. Jones' redesign includes a new high efficiency irrigation system, renovation of 66 bunkers, construction of 20 new tee-boxes, new cart paths, the total reconstruction of holes 1 and 15, and a new state of the art practice facility.
2007 will also mark the Grand Opening of the newly constructed Clubhouse Complex. When the $7.5 million structure opens in 2007, it will be among the most distinctive and environmentally forward recreational centers in the Tetons. Designed as a year round facility, the clubhouse has been planned to accommodate both outdoor and indoor use. With outdoor dining, four new plexi-pave tennis courts and a new heated outdoor swimming pool, group activities are encouraged throughout the summer.
A new restaurant will open in early summer offering a sophisticated yet comfortable and reasonably priced indoor/outdoor bistro style bar and grill. Dinner will be by reservation. Additionally, a private events patio has been constructed to the north of the new Clubhouse. The event patio will offer 5-star catered events with dead-on views of the Grand Tetons for up to 250 guests. Also available will be the Clubhouse and pool patios for groups of 70 or less. Golf can be packaged to all private events upon request.
