Don't miss a blugrass-jammin' good time tonight at Dornan's in Moose! The Hootenany will take place from 6:00pm until about 9:00pm. Show up a bit early if you want to make sure you get seats! Not to worry if you can't find a chair though; this Monday night event is a great excuse to stand up and dust off your dancing legs to live folk and bluegrass music with the majestic Tetons in the background!

If you're looking for a good way to start your week, head up to Dornan's in Moose, Wyoming tonight. Dornan's is hosting the Hootenany--a local music event complete with classic bluegrass and western music and dancing. The fun starts at 6:00pm and is free and open to the public. Head up early and grab some pizza on the famous Dornan's deck or check out their world-class wine store.

Wildlife Out and About in Grand Teton National Park

Spring has sprung and the animals of Grand Teton National Park know it. This weekend, we captured some of the wild kingdom on camera, including a group of bison, the elusive grizzly bear and a bedded down moose. All roads through the park are now open so hop in the car or on your bike and head in! Always be respectful of the wildlife, giving them plenty of space to roam. There's nothing quite as scary as an upset griz or protective group of buffalo heading your way!

Single-day entrance fees: $25 for 7 days (good for both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park), $25 per vehicle, $12 per person for single hiker or cyclist, $20 per motorcycle.

Patio Season in Jackson Hole

Mountainweather.com is forecasting that we will see temps upwards of 86 degrees today. It's summer in Jackson. And there's not better way to embrace summer in Jackson than to find a favorite patio... and we have a variety of classic decks to choose from, including:

1. Teton Thai (135 N. Cache Dr.) Located just off of town square, Teton Thai offers truly authentic Thai food and a shaded patio. Bring your own wine or beer or order traditional Thai iced tea.

2. Sweetwater Restaurant (On the corner of King and Pearl) Housed in one of Jackson's original log cabin buildings, the Sweetwater offers a great lunch and dinner menu. Enjoy your meal outside, slightly hidden from the busy summer streets.

3. Shades Cafe (82 South King) Next to Sweetwater, you can wander into Shades. Order up a yummy quiche, panini, break burritos, espresso and more and enjoy on the tree-shaded deck.

2. Q Roadhouse (Teton Village Rd. next to Calico 1 mile from light) Not the typical fare you'd expect to find in a mountain town, the Q offers a true BBQ / Cajun-inspired menu. Chill outside on the quiet shaded patio while you munch on some pulled pork, fried pickles, or spicy fried green wyomatoes.

3. Pica's Mexican Taqueria in the Stage Coach Bar (Wilson) Just before you head over Teton Pass, turn right into the famous Stage Coach bar. Hidden inside is Pica's restaurant, where you'll find great Mexican food, an excellent margarita and a deck next to the volley ball court, where you and friends can play a pick up game in between sips.

And the best patio in town? Who harbors the best deck viewing? Well, as most locals will tell you, there's one deck in particular that you can't miss during your Jackson adventuer: Dornan's in Moose. Just as you roll into Grand Teton National Park and head into Moose, you'll come across Dornan's. Dornan's offers up one of the most spectacular views in town, with the Tetons looming high over the horizon.
