Contributions continue to trickle in after the 12th annual Old Bill's Fun Run that took place in downtown Jackson on Saturday, but the estimated total raised, including contributions from Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill, is $5.5 million. 3,300 participants ran, walked, and wheeled their way along the 2-K, 5-K and 10-K courses, raising awareness and substaintial funds for their favorite Jackson Hole charities and non profit organizations. Throughout the years, Old Bill's has helped raise over $53 milion to benefit local charities through the Community Foundation.
This Saturday was no exception in community dedication, support and pure Old Bill's fun as all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities made their way around the town in a big effort to continue building Jackson's vast community nonprofit funding. Donations will continue to be accepted at the Community Foundation office or online at www.oldbills.com until 5pm Friday. To learn the final donation amount, stay tuned. The total will be announced at the Old Bill's Awards Party at the National Wildlife Museum of Art on October 27th.
