Outerlocal Summer Games 2012

The Outerlocal Summer Games take place this Saturday, July 7, at Snow King Resort.  Attendants will enjoy a full day of fun-filled races, demonstrations, presentations, free clinics, live music, raffle prizes and lots of food and drink. 

Participants can enter all or select events as an individual or part of a team.  There are 3 different categories--pro, rec and masters--so you will be fairly matched against your competitors.  Event champs will win a variety of prices from  Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, outfitters and gear companies.  This is a day of fun for the whole family.  Gymnastic clinics and "Imagination Olympics" for kids and music by local favorite, Lazy Eyes. 

And there is still time to register!  Day-off registration will be from 7-9am at Phil Baux Park, right at the base of Snow King.  Day-of registration  is $30 per leg for individuals, $100 for teams.  Pre-registration is $25 for one or more legs, or $50 for teams.  Visit outerlocalsummergames.athlete360.com for more details.

7-9 a.m.: Nonprofit/sponsor/food vendor set-up: Expo Promenade
7-9 a.m.: Event check-in: Phil Baux Park picnic shelter
9:30 a.m.: Teton Boulder Park grand opening
10:00 a.m.: Mountain biking start.
12:00 p.m.: Bouldering start: Teton Boulder Park.
2:00 p.m.: Running start: Start/Finish line
4:00 p.m.: Paragliding start: Start/Finish line
4:30 p.m.: JacksonHoleLive! presents a free concert in the park: Lazy Eyes. Snow King Baseball Diamond
6 p.m.: Competition finish: Start/Finish line. Dinner in the park/awards ceremony: Snow King Baseball Diamond
7-9 p.m.: JacksonHoleLive! presents a free concert in the park: Boom Chick. Snow King Baseball Diamond
